It actually isn't as bad as you would think it would be. The national rear springs are stiff enough for towing plus it has the rear traction bars. The 460 has more than enough to grunt to pull whatever you hook up to. Ya just need a big ole' drop hitch:redneck: The biggest problem is you just can't see anything around ya cuz it's so dang tall. That's what bumpers are for right?:redneck:

As for my own still new-to-me tow rig:

1997 Dodge Ram 2500
5.9l Cummins 6BT
NV4500 transmission
NV241HD transfer case
Dana 80 limited slip rear, Dana 60 front, 4.10 gears
2" leveling kit
DT Profab extended link arms
Toyo Open Country M/T 315/75R16s on 16x8 wheels

Now it just needs a few mild bombs. Thinking #11 torque plate, 3k GSK, and a 4" exhaust somewhere down the road. I'll probably add some Billstein 5100s in the near future and an adjustable track bar when it comes time to replace the stock one, too.

Just posted mine, but what the hell:redneck:
1989 F-250 7.3 IDI Diesel
Banks Stinger kit, and exhaust, 10lbs boost with wastegate
5-speed
Detroit rear, Track-lock front
285/75/16 MTR's (Needs 35's and new wheels though)
4" Superlift kit. (bouncy!)
Overall, I'm pretty happy with it, because it works, was well cared for, and was cheap!

Posting from work so no pic. I have a 79 chev 1 ton standard cab converted to a flat bed. My black suzuki rides on top with HD air bags and load range E tires. It has a 350 eng, th 400 trans, and a 10 1/2 rear end. It handles fairly good and gets the job done.
